Event Creation and Entry Management
Our purpose is to offer a Platform that allows you to create Events and manage Entries. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service.
LineUp allows both types of Users to create Events. Therefore, Members and Creators that do so are required to:
- Provide accurate details regarding booking fees, venue details and capacity, amenities, music genre, and promotional materials. Our App allows you to use direct coordinates from Google for precise identification of your venue.
- Only organise Events that are in line with applicable legislation and consistent with good conduct and ethical behaviour.
- Ensure that the Events they organize meet the expected standards of quality, safety and lawfulness, at their own risk and responsibility.
- Have the necessary authorization for the organized Events, but also for the posted Content (e.g. having consent of the persons that are identifiable).
- Issue non-transferable Entries for allowing access to the organized Events (unless permitted otherwise by LineUp).
- Be fully liable for any cancellations, postponements or modifications of the Events.
Only successfully registered Users will be able to access the App, regardless of the type of account they choose.
When Content is uploaded, it is automatically made visible to other Members, unless you restrict its visibility and/or engagement. This default setting reflects LineUp’s primary goal — to connect people and foster a lively environment for Event organizers and participants.
App Functionalities
When using LineUp, you have a set of features that allow you to tailor your experience to your interests and preferences. For example, you can restrict the visibility of your profile, let us know what we can contact you about, and ask us anything you are curious or concerned about at any point.
Your opt-out rights will not affect communications related to requests or concerns you raised with us or related to important LineUp updates. These cannot be disabled.
Integrations
LineUp allows integrations with external services such as Stripe (payments) and Instagram (profile link). By connecting these accounts, you authorise LineUp to access, store, and use relevant information for providing you with the full functionalities of the platform.
Social Media
We obtain access to the strictly necessary information of your Instagram account based on your consent for adding your social media profile to your User profile in LineUp. This can be a fun way to connect with others outside our App as well!
However, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, as per our Privacy Notice.
Location
We use Apple Core Location APIs to accurately determine your location when you choose to share it with us, or to identify the location of an event venue.
If you consented to processing of your Live Location, we also include this information for collecting points of interest, which are places where we detect that you stay for more than 15 minutes.
You can subsequently decide to keep or not. You will be informed when these points of interest are created by the App and you have the right to review whether they are relevant to your publicly visible profile. The Live Location Data will be stored in your account, privately, until you accept or reject it.
Payments
LineUp acts solely as a Platform provider and is not a party to any transaction between Creators and Members.
Payments for Entries are processed via Stripe or other authorized payment processors, as described on the webpage related to the purchase, in the following manner:
- Users connecting a Stripe account may withdraw funds 24 hours after the conclusion of the Event, subject to Stripe’s policies.
- Users not connecting a Stripe account must provide the required details for verification and validation by Stripe before funds are released, subject to Stripe’s policies. However, in order to withdraw funds, event hosts must create a connected account via Stripe on our platform.
In either case, it is your responsibility to ensure that all payment details are correct.
LineUp charges a 5% platform fee and 3% & 30 cent payment processing fee, and a flat €1/£1/$1 fee for transactions below 10 units of currency. LineUp and Stripe reserve the right to apply additional fees related to:
- Currency conversion differences between the transaction currency and the connected account currency.
- International credit card payments relative to the connected account location.
LineUp processing fees and Stripe fees are non-refundable.
When applicable, service fees, Platform charges and taxes may be deducted from payments before disbursement. You will be informed at the moment of the transfer.
If your account is terminated and you still have remaining credit:
- You may request withdrawal within one (1) month of the confirmation of termination, if the termination was voluntary.
- You may request withdrawal within one weekof the confirmation of termination, if the termination was caused by a breach of the T&Cs.
Intellectual Property
Users retain ownership rights with respect to the content they upload. However, by posting Content you agree that LineUp is granted a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable and non-exclusive license with respect to using, displaying and distributing it for ensuring the contractually accepted functionalities.
LineUp retains ownership rights regarding the design, logo, code and concept behind the Platform.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
We do use AI for refining the descriptions of Events and Content that we may initiate, including messages or notifications.
Regarding your personal data, we only use AI for collecting and subsequently processing your Live Location data, when you consent to it. For more details, please check section 4 of our Privacy Notice.

We strive to offer a first-class environment, bound by respect, safety, integrity and trust. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to post and/or engage in illegal, abusive, obscene, defamatory, misleading or discriminatory content. Any content that is in breach of legislation (e.g. copyright laws or legal prohibitions for weapons and dangerous substances) we will consider it against our Terms and Conditions as well. This includes organising Events that feature any of the previously mentioned characteristics or purposes.
When such situations are flagged to us, or when we discover them proactively, we reserve the right to remove content, limit its visibility or, for repeated misconduct, suspend, restrict or ban your account. We will inform you about the measure we took in a transparent manner.
As a way of respecting your freedom of expression, you have the right to complain about our decision. If you do so, we will review the decision and reply to you as soon as possible, but no later than one (1) month. If your case is complex, we reserve the right to take longer than one (1) month to respond, provided that you are notified.
Please note we do not endorse or assume liability for Content uploaded by Users.
Limitation of Liability
In line with the above clauses and as allowed by applicable legislation, LineUp is not liable for:
- Disputes with other Users.
- Dissatisfaction with the quality, safety, lawfulness or the overall holding of the Events, which resides with the Host and Co-Host(s) organising it.

- Uploaded Content, including for any consent, approval or authorization which the law may require for such Content.

Should any liability on our part arise, the maximum aggregate amount for which we may be held liable shall not exceed the total fees paid by the User to LineUp in the six (6) months preceding the Event giving rise to such liability.
