4.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

LineUp uses AI to process your Live Location data and transform it into meaningful profile insights — identifying the places you frequent, inferring your interests and lifestyle, and building a richer understanding of who you are beyond what you explicitly share. This powers our social discovery engine, helping us connect you with people and Events that are genuinely aligned with you. This process is strictly consent-based: you are notified each time a new Point of Interest is detected, and you retain full control over which locations are accepted, rejected, or associated with your public profile at any time through the App.

5.

Your Rights

Under the Applicable Data Protection Laws, you have the right to:

  • Information — Be informed about how your Personal Data is processed.
  • Access — Request a copy of your Personal Data and further details around processing, as per Art. 15 UK GDPR.
  • Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data.
  • Deletion — Request deletion of your Personal Data. This right is limited to the cases listed in Art. 17 UK GDPR.
  • Restriction — Request limits on how we process your Personal Data. This right is limited to the cases listed in Art. 18 UK GDPR.
  • Portability — Request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, for transferring it to another Data Controller, or having it transferred directly, if certain circumstances occur as per Art. 17 UK GDPR. This right is limited to Personal Data being processed based on consent, or necessity for performance of a contract to which you are party of, or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
  • Object — Oppose the processing of your personal data, in the cases listed in Art. 21 of the GDPR, including for direct marketing.
  • Not be Subject to Automated Decision-Making — Oppose decision-making which is based solely on automation, which produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you. This right is not granted in cases of decisions made with your explicit consent, necessary for entering into or performing a contract with us or when authorised by UK domestic law or the EU or Member State Law, as the case may be, which offers suitable measures to safeguard your rights, freedoms and legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw Consent — Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Requests can be made by contacting us at the details from Section 9.
